Backstory
Proud Son of Bozja
Shortly after the Garlean occupation of Bozja, a young Hrothgar, still reeling from the sudden loss of his clan's queen, took to the battlefield in the name of kin and country. Joining with a small platoon of his fellows, records of his exploits on the battlefield are scarce- a mostly nameless soldier, indistinguishable from the rest of the rank and file... and, yet, one singularly driven to protect his homeland.
In fact, the only record of his service at all came in the form of a casualty report; the whole of his platoon, wiped out by a Garlean ambush scarcely more than a malm behind the lines of the Southern Front. By all accounts, Private First Class Blasko Kalyasch should be no more than a memory- another pitiable shade, haunting the blood-drenched soil of Bozja... and yet...
A Prisoner of War
Bloodied and beaten, Blasko and a number of his compatriots were quietly spirited away, detained in a series of holding cells far from the frontlines. Many did not survive their confinement; these were the lucky ones.
In time, Blasko- alongside his last-surviving platoon-mate, Radimir- fell under the control of a younger Aulus mal Asina, a Garlean scientist obsessed with unlocking the secrets to aether manipulation. Spirited away to a secret laboratory beneath the streets of Garlemald, Blasko was subjected to a number of gruesome experiments in the name of perfecting "Soul Extraction," a process believed to hold the key to aethereal infusion.
Not Quite Dead
Blasko's time in the laboratory was unspeakable- it was only the reassurances of Radimir that kept his mind together over those long, torturous years. Occupying the adjacent cell, the man- a few years Blasko's senior- would encourage him to bide his time, steadfast in his belief that the two would, one day, be free.
Eventually, however, Asina would grow dissatisfied with the pace of his research. On a particularly cold and bitter morning, Blasko was dragged out of the cells and strapped to an operating table. In all the chaos around him, the whorl of voices and lights and cruel commands, he caught only two words: "Soul Confluence."
The procedure was horrific- the pain defying description, as if Blasko's very essence were being ripped apart. He was unsure how long had passed when he found himself curled on the floor of his cell, his body incandescent with agony with every breath. At first, he thought the distant screams belonged to another unfortunate subject- it was only later he realized they were his own.
In time, he would manage to crawl to the washbasin across the room, desperate to slake his thirst. It was there that he caught his first glimpse of himself since the procedure- beholding the eerie transmutations that had been worked upon his form. The face looking back up at him belonged to no mortal man- it was the polished bone of a deaths-head, eyes aflame with feeble blue light. His body, too, had changed- the emaciated frame having stretched and swollen, leaving behind a hulking, muscular form, patterned with strange, glowing markings that evoked the pattern of bones.
The Empty Cell
Overtaken by despair, it was only then that he heard the faint voice of his companion, echoing from the adjacent cell. He had no way of knowing how long Radimir must have been speaking to him, but his words had changed; there was no more talk of freedom- only talk of revenge.
Too weak to respond, he listened throughout the night, allowing his mind to flood with images of blood and violence, resolving himself to die in a frenzy of destruction- a rage that would shake the very foundations of the world itself. As the facility lights crackled to life the next morning, accompanied by the hurried steps of the scientists and their guards, Blasko found his chance.
No sooner had the key entered the lock than the Hrothgar leapt to his feet, his weariness and injury swept away on a tide of unquenchable fury. With claw and fang, he tore through his captors, cutting a bloody path to Radimir's cell, spurred on all the while by his companion's bellowing command: "Kill them, Blasko- Kill them all."
When he reached the cell, he found he needed no key- his newfound form was imbued with preternatural strength- more than enough to tear the door from its hinges. He rushed inside, eager to embrace his friend at last... only to find a cold, empty room- adorned only with a vast pool of long-dried blood.
Consigned to Memory
Before his mind could register the impossible sight before him, he felt the sharp stinge of a syringe enter his neck, his strength deserting him as the chemical restraints sent him sprawling to the floor. This would be the last memory he had of the laboratory, watching with fading vision as he was dragged away, the blood of his friend growing steadily farther away.
Despite surviving the procedure, Asina declared the experiment a failure- the union of two souls had empowered the body, but destroyed the mind. Sealed away into a specimen tube, Blasko was placed in suspended animation, lost in a long, dreamless sleep- denied even the comfort of returning to the Lifestream.
There he would remain, lost and forgotten, until the Babil Incident. As the horrifying tower rose above the capitol, the subterranean lab was breached, its containment systems failing. Once more, Blasko found himself cold upon the floor of the laboratory- albeit now one eerily quiet, save for the distant blaring of the alarm.
Dazed and feeble, he groped blindly through the darkness, guided only by a phantom voice- impossibly faint... yet maddeningly familiar. The voice guided him through the tangle of darkened rooms and sparking corridors, until, at last, he found himself face-to-face with the first living being he'd seen; a Garlean scientist, pale-faced and terrified, clearly in the midst of a frantic escape.
There was no thought that followed- the action was automatic, natural as breathing. He fell upon the man, unmaking him with singular ferocity. As fangs met flesh, the voice solidified in his mind- Radimir, once again spurring him onward. It was then he understood- it was Radimir's vengeful soul he carried within him.
As the man below him breathed his last, he became aware of a most peculiar scent- eyes locking on a strange, scintillant energy pluming out from the ruins of the scientist. Radimir's command was absolute: "Feed."
Souleater
As Blasko opened his skeletal maw, long, glowing tongue lolling, he found he could breathe in the man's aether as easily as one might quaff a drink. Kneeling, hunched over, he supped upon the fading life-energy, feeling his vitality rekindle as he devoured.
When, at last, the flow ceased, he stood and regarded himself. His body felt strong- alive- and his markings, once muted and matte, glowed with unearthly light. In his mind, Radimir's voice sighed in satisfaction, growing quiet once more.
For a long moment, he stood there in silence, staring at his hands. He was not a person any longer- not truly- but he was not fully fiend, either. He was yet himself... though he was Radimir, too. Yet, of all these details, the most important was this: he was achingly, undeniably free.
A Wandering Phantom
The war and devastation in Garlemald offered perfect cover for Blasko to escape without notice, stealing away into the hinterlands, preying upon the straggling deserters fleeing the capitol. In time, however, he learned to temper his ravenous hunger- to feed without killing- affording him the ability to travel further afield.
Eager to put the horrors of Garlemald behind him forever, he cloaked himself in stolen robes, and boarded an Allied supply ship making for Limsa Lominsa, hiding among the cargo. As the distant spires of limestone pierced the fog above the harbor, he felt certain of his decision.
In this new and troubled land, he would carve out a life- for himself, and Radimir both.
Preferences
Personality
As two souls sharing one vessel, Blasko can express markedly different personalities, depending on the scenario, and the desires of both parties. Of the two, Blasko is the primary personality, with Radimir showing himself only under very specific circumstances- particularly at moments with significant emotional (or physical) tension.
Blasko is somewhat reserved, polite, romantic, and generally more submissive.
Radimir is dominant, aggressive, bold, and significantly more sexual. If Blasko is called upon to be more dominant, it is generally Radimir who will take charge.
Blasko will only respond to his own name- Radimir will respond to either, provided he has been "awakened."

For general RP, all races and genders are welcome.
For any NSFW or ERP, both Blasko and Radimir are exclusively attracted to masculine-presenting characters- this will, of course, include FtM and masculine Nonbinary characters.
